I saw your previous post, lots of good advice especially as you seem to be on a budget.

I will just add that we will be racing on up at MB on carpet over the winter with our last outdoor meeting this weekend.

So it may be good to keep in mind that we will be running on a high traction surface.

With that in mind I would be looking at something mid motored with a lay-down transmission.

You will get lots of good advice and support no matter what car you choose but the majority of us run either the Yokomo, Xray or Schumacher platforms, so YZ-2/YZ-2CA, XB2, KF2 etc

Any advice on tires for the internal racing?

Cheers

depends how much grip and if they are full spikes are part worn ;)

For Indoor Cars really you'd want a Yokomo YZ2 or YZ2CA, Xray XB2 carpet, Schumacher KF/KF2, AE RC10 B6, Losi 22 3.0 laydown conversion, or Team C TM2 V2.

Tyres we'll be using Schumacer minipins on the rear, cut staggers on the front. Both yellow compound

Is that a tyre regulation or recommendation?
