What motor and gearing are you using?
 

As above , just really interested as i dont want to go too hot.
Im running an lrp 4.0 with the 87 spur , although ive no pinion that will catch the spur , i need a 19 or above.

At Bury on Sunday i was running an 87 Spur 20 Pinion (Ratio 10.22) with an LRP 5.5.. 12.5 sintered rotor..Temp was fine and was coming off with nearly 2000mah.. so could prob gear up a tooth to 9.73.

This is how i will be running it at Worksop this coming weekend.

This is a very, very hot motor for buggy. Most people are running a 5.5 in 4wd, or even a 6.5.

I'm still running brushed and my 10x2 is geared at 87/18 or 87/19. 87/20 felt maybe a little overgeared indoors.

I know its a hot motor its just i couldnt find what i wanted online at the time and Microtech were doing this for 58 pounds, ive just won a brand new unopened lrp 4.5 aswell . That cost me 28 quid.
