Toro TS160 and bluetooth module.

Hi Everyone.

I was trying to hook up the Bluetooth module so I can program my new esc with my iPhone. It always says ESC not found. I have paired the module with my phone and there is an audible beep while trying to connect but that is as far as I get.

Has anyone got this to work already? I do have the Prog Box and can use laptop but I don't take it to the track with me.

There's two versions of the app, try the other one... The icon on mine is orange...

Hope that helps?

Thanks Tom, I'll let you know in a few weeks when I get back to it. Mine is red though.

my mate has the same problem and I think the iPhone is only compatible with the wifi module

You know I wondered that but on the website it does say it is compatible. I'll try the orange app. If that doesn't work I guess I'll be ordering a wifi module too.

Are you using windows 8/10?

Try windows 7, and run the skyrc program as "Administrator".

Hi Neal. As I said I have the programming box already and that works with my computers. I want to be able to use my phone trackside. iPhone.
Cheers

It does work with the iphone. I have about 5 different skyrc speedos and all work with bluetooth, but sometimes it takes a few goes to link the two !!

You'll need to open the bluetooth link to the speedo in "settings" on the iphone ... should work after that ..

My point was you may need to/should upgrade both the box and speedo to the latest software, before you get the bluetooth module working.

To update you all, I have got comms with my 1s using the Bluetooth module, still no joy with the 160 though.
