Hi All

Hi, just like to say that after being away for a few years, I am looking at coming back now the kids are a little older. I'm hoping to make the next meet on Sunday 17th. Do I need to pre book or can that be done on the day? Also what type of tyres can anyone recommend? I am running a Durango DEX210 with a rear mounted motor.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Rob

No need to book club meets in advance. For a 210 you'll want Schumacher yellow minispkes at the back and cut staggers at the front. I've literally just stopped running a 210 myself so drop by race control, ask for me and I've got some wheels with part worns plus a few other bits you can have

You'd probably be better off building it mid motor if you have the time or motivation for it, rears fine to get you going but mids faster.

I've got an old Craig Collinson base setup for the 210 if your interested.

Thanks Si I will do that. Does Stu still show his face down there? I've not seen him since Roger passed.

Hi Neil, you may be right but i'm going to get familiar with the car as is for the moment, rebuilding it with the mid motor option scares the life out of me. I would end up with a box of bits Lol!

Stu's taken over his dads role as race controller when he's not racing 1/5ths for Rossmods. I'm only reserve race controller these days.

Anyway my 210 is being passed to my eldest son who won't need a lot of the bits I've got for it so there is plenty of stuff you can get I'm sure.

Nah building it mids easy, but I can certainly understand wanting to get familiar with it first.
