Clubs in South East Scotland / North East England

The usual story trying to get back into racing after a ridiculously long absence, the problem is I live just outside Berwick upon Tweed and there doesn’t seem to be anything close by was thinking of going down to Jarrow or up to Broxburn but both are a bit of a trek so wondering if there is anybody else in the area interested in starting a new club.

theres csor..... its a lil more western but we do have people from your neck of the woods and were currently building a large astro track. they cater mainly for 8th nitro but there is a number of hardcore members (me included) who run 10ths. also were currently running a 18th scale champoinship in a barn. see www.csor.co.uk for more info:D

csor - is about a 2 hour drive from me, wouldn’t mind the drive but my car only does about 20mpg on super unleaded so would probably be cheaper buying a barn than coming over every week. Would really like to set something up closer to home regularly. Do you guys still race on a Sunday? Half tempted just to pop over looks like a cracking setup.

Was really after some 1/10th electric buggy racing. Was hoping there was a few like minded people around this area to make it worth while starting a club. Plenty of land and empty barns round this way for a track. The problem is everybody seems to have full size rally cars rather than 1/10th buggys. Thanks for the help guys, think i will pop along to the clubs you have mentioned could maybe make it once a month.
