Which motor 540sc 20t or .....?
 

There has been a lot of discussion on fb about the type of motor to use at York in the 2wd 540 class. Some suggest using a 19t, external brushed, 'stock' class motor, instead of the 20t sealed can (mabuchi/johnson type) which is the specified motor in the 2wd 540sc Club championship.
By all means use whatever motor you wish, but on Championship nights, only cars with the motor specified in the rules will be allowed to run in that class. All others run in modified. The rules are decided, and voted on at the AGM by Club members.
