sorry, indoor carpet, just seems ok but exiting corners trying to apply power it understeers making me back off the power and re-apply several times till straightened up then full power, very annoying

have schumacher mini pins wide fronts, and losi spikes silver on rear? would thin fronts help?

Well this is my indoor setup: http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16091

A XXX-CR does have a tendancy to understeer as you are experiencing but my setup makes it more aggressive by taking away some rear end. I found backing off the power and re applying when it starts to understeer pulls it in line quickly with little to no loss in speed.

Losi spikes on rear? You want yellow pins all round.
