Yokomo MR-4BC help!@!£!

Hi!
Im fixing up my old yokomo mr-4bc 2003 special version and need some help. Im going to replace my 84t spurgear but im not sure what the part nr is, i found one 84t zs-s84, zm-s84 & sg-4884 anybody knows the difference between these? And wich one is the original for the 2003 special version? Does anybody know where i can get parts for the mr-4bc?
Thanks alot:drool:

Looking in the manual, looks like the 84t spur was standard, and on the original MR4BC. that looks like ZM-S84
SG-4884 is listed as precision 84t spur.
Other numbers I cannot find, there was a 78t spur.

i can agree that. i have a new mr-4bcs 2003 kit at home. standard spur gear is a xenon 48pitch 84T precision spur gear SG-4884.
i think its Xenon part nr: GE48-0084

Yes, not to beat around the bush, podiumrc do NOT stock the parts they list, they just publish the distributors lists. Often the distributor does not have the part either so you don't receive anything within a reasonable time.

Sadly there are several UK based shops doing this now - Apex Models is another. Only buy if you KNOW they have stock.

Re: the Xenon spur - that looks like a "standard" spur to me, so quite a few other brands should fit.

I'm guessing the Special has a flat spur with the centre one-way - I had a standard BC which has a fixed drive combined with the offset spur (ZM-S84).

Thanks for expanding that Sosidge
Got both yokes on the table, look again at the spurs tomorrow, special has the slipper fitted and the original fixed spur & gear/bearings in my pit box.

Looking at the standard BC, spur has a raised centre boss (and is offset), first time I have looked in there, but unlike any other spurs I have seen.

The Special looks just like the associated spurs I am used to, both my cars fixed drive, no one way. Hope this is helpful.

Will be putting the cars on here & ebay soon, just collecting dust at the moment. Mick

The zm-s84 and zs-s78 spurs fit the standard mr-4bc kits. I think the special had an 81t spur, but am not sure of this.
hope this may be of help. what parts do you need ? .
