Problems with end of line rc, and cml

I know this isnt the place to voice this but im annoyed, I have ordered some parts from end of line rc and only received half, when i try to contact them i have not been able to make contact. This is almost a month ago now an its getting rediculous, i know we have had 2 weeks of crimbo but everywhere should caught up by now. Also i have a GTB that i need send back to cml for some work on it, and again i cant seem to get through to anyone, i was given an email for the department and have not heard anything back from them either, and help that people can give me i will be greatful.

Just both companies dont seem to have very good customer care at all!!!!!!!!!!!

have you tried the phone mike?

Body Paint 13-01-2009 12:53 PM

As far as I know it's the same company, personally I'd just ring CML and ask them to find out for you.

DCM 13-01-2009 12:55 PM

End of Line RC is a branch of CML, it is used to sell redundant stock and stuff that they no longer distribute. Give CML a call, and get it sorted, always best to phone if there is a problem.

yeah, but if you phone, they have to talk to you. Do it....DO IT

Ther eis no phone number for "End Of Line" since at the knock down prices they clear the stuff out for they cannot justify paying someones wage to sit by/or on the phone all day too. Assadi just phone CML regarding yopur repair or go through your l;ocal shop to deal with it for you (as CML prefer ALL customers to do)

HTH

IceMike 13-01-2009 01:06 PM

We will always deal with things for cusotmers, but alternativley you could go through the place who supplied the unit that needs looking....

Let us know if you wish us to deal with it.

IceMike 13-01-2009 01:30 PM

GRRR!!!!!!!!!

IceMike 13-01-2009 01:31 PM

PaulRotheram 13-01-2009 01:40 PM

just give them a ring, you dont NEED it in writting, it's not as if your going to need it for legal action or anything. By the time your finished complaining here, you could of rang them up and have the problem rectified. :)

IceMike 13-01-2009 01:43 PM

but still u cant tell me taht they shouldnt have replied to my emails. and its partially sorted now anyways, jsut cant find where i can delete this thread

I've also had a little disappointment buying direct from CML recently.

Ordered some parts through their Shopatron site and two of them were not actually available despite the website saying they were. They let me know that one part was unavailable before they sent the order out, but when the other part didn't come in the jiffy bag I was told it was also out of stock and the Shopatron side of the business hadn't been told! So I doubt I will use their Shopatron if it can't be trusted to actually have the parts it says available.

Although in fairness to CML they have refunded the unsent parts and answered all my emails, and there are phone numbers published that you can use to contact them (not that I have needed to).

DCM 13-01-2009 05:36 PM

from what I understand, Shopatron, the order is sent out to their shops for completion, so the item doesn't come direct from CML, so in theory, out of ALL the shops, one of them should have your part, but theory and practice are sometimes a little different.

Body Paint 13-01-2009 06:26 PM

I think you are correct DCM. That shopatron seems a bit pointless to me, just go to your LHS in person and buy it. Or if you really are such a geek that you can't face leaving your front room or having to actually talk to another human being :o go to your favourite online store eg. DMS who will be more likely to have it in stock
