Robitronics Transponders Power
I could do with some help please!
I am wanting to power the Robitronic RS163 Transponder directly from a battery/batteries as I dont have a receiver power source - Does anyone know a way to power them individually? These are going in to small cars with a combined ESC/Servo/Receiver so there is no option of connecting them to the cars internal power without major surgery!! Any help would be appreciated!! |
I wondered if this would work?

Our club used to use them and still have a full set of house transponders, bridge and software. I can't remember exactly what the power limit is but I have powered them from micro helicopter lipo's 3.7v 1s and I'm sure I read they are good up to 9v but don't quote me, the 2032 type battery was 1 option I looked at but as they are not rechargeable I didn't bother
