Why does my motor only rotates backwards ?
 

After calibrating a Speed Passion GT 2.0 Pro sensored ESC with a Viper motor it will only run reverse and I don`t know why..

I´ve tried another sensor cable, another motor, calibrate it with the radio in ¨rev¨ instead of normal..

If it were sensorless I would just swap the motor wires, but I can`t because it is sensored.

Any idea about why the motor only runs reverse?

Maybe in the software, hobby wing you can change motor rotation.

I don't use the Speed Passion gt's, but on the Reventon there is a warning about issues with the Viper Motors and Temp issues, see yellow box at bottom of this link

if i remember correctly the gt2 will work sensored and sensorless and wierdly you can actually swap the wires around to reverse. try it, if it doesnt work the motor will just stutter, and provided its only for a short time then you wont do any damage.

I have the same problem with a speed passion reventon ESC and motor I just run it senseless , annoying but not a lot you can do about it apparently
