lrp 5.5 gearing
 
hi i am looking for some gearing sugestions for a lrp 5.5 in a b44 with stock spur.if you could help in any way i would be gratfull.thanks

18-20t should be fine, try a 19t to start with and if its getting too hot then gear down and if you want a little more top end then try the 20t if its not getting too hot:D

if its a sintered rotor 20 if its bonded 18;)

i am not to sure if it has the sintered rotor in it.i think it just has the bonded 1 in it.but thanks for the help.i will get a few pinion gears around that area.thanks again

when you turn the motor over by hand does it feel like a brushed motor or does it spin more easily?

if it feels like brushed to turn over it's sintered

too tell the truth i just brought it off ebay.so i havent got it yet but when i do ill update the thread.
