B5m puck drive system

Any advice, recommendation on the MIP puck drive would be appreciated.
As far as I can see, there are two systems .MP14230 for "stock" racing I.e. 17.5 t motors and MP 14190 shiny drive system for modified motors I.e. Less than 13.5t motors..
The stock system is available in this country but not the obvious choice the shiny drive one for some reason.
Anyone using these systems, any good, and ,if so, where did you source the MP14190 shiny drive..?
Thanks...

MIP Pucks

Hi Aire,

I have just fitted the shiney puck system to my C.E Edition. I will be trying next weekend. There is no play at all in the outdrive/pin area as the orange puck buts up against the inside. This I guess will give an instant reaction as no play ?

I got mine from the states off ebay. Cost me 29.99 plus 2.30 shipping. I got in the pack,

Thread lock
Grease
outdrives
shiney driveshafts
spare set of orange pucks
sticker set.

Hope that helps..........

Sounds like you got a bargain as well, where were they from..? I'll get some ordered at that price.!

No...as Mark said, those are for 17.5t motors and have light alloy shafts.
The MIP 14190 with steel shafts are for higher power motors 13.5t and less. For some reason they don't seem to be available in the UK.
