Tekin Rs setup cutting out
 

Running an RS Pro with Redline motor in my boys 2wd. It runs for around 5 seconds then judders and glitches before cutting out, going again briefly after a few seconds. If I turn it off and on it does the same.

Tried my own radio gear and same issue, but noticed with my handset it brought up the low battery voltage warning on the radio when i pressed the trigger or turn the wheel. WEIRD! It seems like the speedo is maybe killing the radio gear somehow?

Any ideas?

Sounds like the BEC is failing in the Tekin. You could try pulling the red wire from the lead from the speedo to the rx and using an external battery pack (4 AAs, old school) to power the radio & servo and see if the problem goes away. If it does it's the speedo, if not it'll take a little more thought!

Saw something about the servo possibly causing an issue. Changed servo and seems to be working although i have yet to run it properly over a five minute run. Fingers crossed
