Economical spacer shims?

Is there such a thing as an economical source of aluminium space shims for ball joints etc? I'm after 1mm 2mm 3mm spacers, but some of the usual manufacturer ones are silly money for what they are...
Any ideas?

Hi Tim,

I found these mixed sets at MB models
http://www.rccarshop.co.uk/spares/tl...b-spacer-set-p
http://www.rccarshop.co.uk/accessori...-2-3mm-16pcs-p

(there are others) tend to be most economical. A mixed set of various thicknesses. I just keep a few in my kit box just in case...
certainly cheaper than the Yokomo versions

Also these ones from modelsport
http://www.modelsport.co.uk/schumach...-products/1594

Just try googling "rc mixed shims" I found loads

I bought some of these last year. Really good for the price. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/0-5-1-0-1-...item54131faabd

You get 4 of each: 0.5/1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0/3.5/4.0mm

if you check their shop, they also do them in Purple, Black, Yellow and maybe other colours too.
