Damper...yup just one!

Guys

Im in dire need, i need to use a buggy damper for a starwars model, its basically to simulate a recoiling and returning gun barrel.

For this, i need a basic size damper...anybody got something like an unused Durga damper or similar i can bum?

Im sure many upgraded there DB01's so any chance, as i dont want to buy a full set lol...obviously ill throw some cash your way...if you got one.

Thanks fellas

I've got some spare micro ones lying around (mini-t size) if they are any good to you? They are just taking up room in my pit box........

Buddy that is a seriously kind offer, but the Micro ones havent got the kind of weight behind them for what i need to move.

If you imagine this gun barrel (a studio scale Hoth Ion cannon in fact), has to slide back and forth inside a tube, operated by a damper...with no spring (a spring would give too harsh a recoil) smoothly!

Again though, thanks for the offer buddy...i cant believe im being this cheap, but the project is a pricey one

Would it need to hold oil ! I have a ZX-5 front that we ripped the bottom cap off, screws in but leaks so no use to me ? shaft/piston/top cap all OK, pm me an address if any good.

Seriously guys, thank you for popping in here, niggs, thats awesome buddy, sure let me know!
JC, yes sadly it would need to hold oil to have a full return dampening effect, but again, thanks man!

Basically..nothing fancy, hell a Tamiya plastic CVA would do the job i reckon as long as its gonna "flow" LOL.

and I still have some old B4-shocks lying around, so if you can't find any from the Uk, I might send you one from the continent.
Shouldn't be to expensive in a simple envelope.
