LC EMB 1 shock pistons - drill out?

Hi,

just putting the shocks together on a new kit - 4 holes in the pistons - is it advisable to drill these out in a similar way to the 3 hole shock pistons?

If so what size & what weight oil / shocks are most of you using?

Thanks for any info,

W

i started out with kit pistons and 40wt oil all round (dropped front to 35 for more steering), now have carisma 1.2 pistons with 37.5 all round

ive been running kit pistons and springs with associated 35 at the front and 32.5 at the rear. and with the thumbs designs carbon towers, which have an extra hole that is more upright, and i use either the centre or outer hole on that tower. car feels pretty damn good with that.
