First Vintage Night
 

Well last night was the first vintage heat.

With Worksop on today, turn out seemed lower than recent but still there were 7 heats in total.
With Jerry and Matt at the helm and another great flowing track by Ben it was going to be fun.

Well, we managed to scrape together 5 cars for the vintage heat, Chris Taylor bringing 3 just for himself,
including a Tamiya Bear Hawk which last moved a decade or two ago.
Nice to see Kris Scott run his Cougar and make it though to the end of the evening.


The best race by far was the final with 4 cars all on the same lap for most of the race!
The results speak for themselves with times which would have been in the A Final 2wd Mod.

Great to see Pete Metcalf and his XX giving me one of the best races for years!!

Bringing the fun back, roll on next time.

Great to see a club introducing a vintage class and even better that it's a no pressure class with emphasis on fun.

I've seen similar at Dudley, West Bridgford and A1 in their Winter Series.

Mid-East introduced vintage into their regionals for last year but unfortunately had prohibitive rules.
