novak esc problem
 

Hi,
A friend has bought the new novak havoc brushless esc and when he goes from brake,back to nautral,then back to brake,the brakes work but if he doesnt go back to nautral after braking,then goes to brake again,no brakes!??...any ideas?

I've got a Novak XBR ESC and by default the brakes are turned off. So if you're going forward there is no brakes or reverse until you come to a stand still. If your mate looks in his manual it'll tell him how to turn the brakes on. On mine its hold the ESC one touch button down until all lights turn on then i just press the button to set the brakes from 0 - 18%.
