Rear wheelbase tc02c vs evo

I was comparing my small fleet of tc02c against an evo at the weekend and noted that the rear wheel base was narrower on the evo.
The question I have is how? Which bit is narrower?
Are the wishbones shorter? Or is the alloy hub physically narrower than the tc02c plastic part?
I'm slowly 'evo-ing', and would like to understand the changes...
Thank you.

Are you using the gullwing wishbones or the flat ones?

With the flat ones I would expect the rear track to be slightly wider, due to inaccuracies in the standard T-Plate. (Only a gnat's nadger wider.)

If you are using the gullwing wishbones then the rear track will be narrower, as the wishbones are shorter. It will still be wonky if you have the standard T-Plate. I actually made a "special" T-Plate for one customer who wanted to be able to achieve the maximum rear track when using the gullwing wishbones.

Thanks Clive. Are the any parts of the car that you haven't made/modified?!
I'm currently using the kit (non evo) t plate and flat arms.
I'm looking to get some alloy rear hubs because my lead keeps breaking them. I'm thinking about getting the 4wd rear hubs and gullwing arms. I'm told that with that setup it will be slightly narrower, and I can keep the kit driveshafts.
I'd be interested in your view.
Thanks
Tim
