Lipo Balancing, help please!

Ok, i am still very new to this lipo malarky. So some help and opinion would be very nice kind oople people.

Firstly i have a couple of LRP 7.4v 1800mah lipo packs which i am currently using a lipo safe charger with.
However they have these funky looking balance leads which i would like to use to get the longest working life out of the cells and keep them in good order.

So without buying a new charger can i get an inline balancer?
Or can i get a lead compatible with the trakpower v balancer for my cells? so i can just by a v balancer and a lead.

Oh and these are micro packs if that isn't clear, thankyou

I use a TP in-line balancer with my 1/18th packs.

TP do a lead that should match, provided you use Deans power connectors. This means no cutting/soldering at all!

Park Number : TPHR3S-VBALHD

Link : Click here and follow link to 'Leads and Accessories, then click on the leads section, it the last product at the bottom of the page

HTH :)

I am sure its just a case of adding a balancer to your charger Wayne, problems pop up with the many types of balance plug on your battery, I have found this the difficult part to match, remember you do not have to balance all that often. Mick

if you can get the relevant board for the BC6 Wayne you know you can balance on mine every now and then. As said, they only need balancing once in a while, unlike NiMH
