B5 vs B5M rear arms
On a B5M, can anyone tell me the difference in handling between the B5 & B5M rear arms?

Thanks guys. So they don't change the geometry at all? Just make the wheelbase approx 1mm shorter? Bare in mind there is 2mm adjustment at the hub.
I've had a B5M Team kit, B5M Lite & now have a B5M CE. The Team kit came with B5M arms & towers. The Lite came with B5 arms & towers. The CE comes with B5 & B5M front towers & arms. And B5M rear arms. I was just wondering if it's worth getting the B5 rear arms as a tuning option? |
You can easily change front droop by switching b5 and b5m front towers.
B5 rear arms with hub way up front will give you best traction at low grip. On astro or carpent no need for b5 rear arms, as youdo not want such a short wheelbase. Flat front arms make the car easier to drive and give you more steering input. Gullwing fronts will give you more steering at the exit. Hope this will help a little. |

This is good basic advice a little black and white tho having the options with this car is great but there is a lot of other factors to consider before anybody can say the b5 arms tower rear arms etc are better or not Just have a play and see what you prefer |
