Tyre choice for BWOC??

Hi All

i see that BWOC is to be run on "the old astro". Not having raced at Silverstone before, what does this mean for tyre choice for both 4wd and 2wd.

Also whats it like for wear? are we looking at one set will last all day, or need multiples?

Thanks

Normally yellow spikes on the rear and yellow staggers/cut staggers on the front.

Wear wise, at least a couple of sets as one set won't do a day.

For 2wd, depends on the chassis. I find worn cut staggers or newer uncut staggers to work on the KF2 and not be too edgy. I've raced there a handful of times now but by no means an expert on the matter! HTH
Can't help with 4wd though, only had 10 mins practice with it on the new astro.

I will probably be on
4wd staggers or 2wd mini spike
2wd uncut stagger

Do minipins work on the rear for 2wd?

Cheers

Yes, but yellow spikes are the way to go.

The grip has come right back up in the past couple of weeks, so its very close to how it used to be.
