Looking to tidy my wiring up/rewire a couple of buggies, wheres best for cables and connectors currently? Also i've seen some using 4mm bullets for batteries that are 90 degree to the cable and provide a neat/low profile install, where can i find these? My google fu is failing me this week

regarding connectors at 90 degrees to cable, just fill the connector internally with solder and solder cable flat to the top of the connector

lol, living up to your user name ;)

Just look for low profile 4mm bullet connectors. They have a proper face to solder against.

Unless I need it to be low profile then I prefer this method as well as it gives you a bigger area to grab hold of the plug when pulling them out of the batteries.....:)

Another good tip if using the corally plugs is to use some side cutters to cut a V shape out of the side so you can semi low profile the height of them ;)

Notching the side is a far better option than filling it with solder. I've got some notched ones, I've also made "handles" out of sugru. They are quite useful.
