Pinions for 501x

Hi All

I am in need of the following pinions (15t-19t) for my 501x. I can find .48dp ones but would prefer long reach ones.

Does anyone know anywhere that sell them? or do I need to order the tamiya ones from HK?

Cheers

I've had the same problem. Long boss pinions are hard to find these days it seems. I ended up going with the Titanium Racing ones (Least I think thats what they are called anyway..)

Not cheap, but the come in Tamiya blue to match:thumbsup:

The 501 requires a medium boss pinion. Long boss pinions run the risk of shredding the front belt as it catches ! Tam pinion packs are the only way to go. As said earlier in this thread brock models stock them

Losi pinions work as well. I have used anything from 17T to 23T (with various motors).

Corally Pinions

Hi, have heard corally pinions work well.

Here's a link to see what they look like.

Hope this helps

I bought a couple Corally pinions last year and they will not work. The thick part as you can see in the above link will rub against one of the belts (I cannot remember which one). Losi or Tamiya pinions seem to work the best.
