Schumacher premounted minipins

Do Schumacher do these as a 4WD front wheel/tyre too? If so are they pin or hex drive (don't have a CAT so have no idea if they are pin or hex on the front end). Just wondered if they'd fit on my Durga.

they are a pin fitting, it's more than likely that if you take the hex off your durga there will be a pin behind it  You should then be able to shim the front driveshafts to stop the Cat wheels binding

HTH

Cheers Ben, yeah thats what I was thinking. I'll try and blag a Revlite wheel at Worksop just to see if it'll fit.

You need to make the hole in the wheel bigger first.

Have you been down this route with your Durga already then? If so is it worth pursuing? It's just that being able to grab a set off the trackside shop is just so convenient, unless I have to take a drill everywhere :p.

No need to drill, just use a reemer, every toolbox should have one.

I didn't try after realising that. The wheel was off a friends shiny new cat. Thought it best not to mutilate it.

Chrislong 31-12-2008 11:33 PM

Good point.

I can spare a wheel if your at Worksop this weekend. Its worth loosing one wheel for the sake of knowing.
