xx4 bulkhead black or white ?
I have some front bulkheads in my parts box with the same part number (1201)
one is black one is white - are these the same thing ? TIA |
Nuh, the white one is more durable, it's alot more flexable and will last longer. The black one is just standard plastic/graphite i believe and was changed to the white version after lots of breakages.

it depends which black ones you have
gen 1 were replaced foc by losi because they shattered big style gen 2 were near impossible to break but after a few meetings needed changing because the hingepin hole stretched big enough to fit your finger in (ok a bit of an exageration but you get the point). gen3 white in colour - half way between the 2 will break with a big enough impact but lasts much longer before needing to be replaced due to slop |
Thanks guys

white one is the one to have, black one is very brittle and not worth bothering with.

Is the kickup the same between the black and the white?

Also, I believe Trinity used to make alloy bulkheads that fitted the XX4 and the Streat weapon. Wouldnt that stop the need for the B3 brace mod? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...10969/48_1.jpg |

The kickup is 0deg or 5deg, but the ones used on the XX4 are 10deg. |
Use the white bulkhead. It is stronger, but I run the B2 front brace on my XX4.

What is this B2/B3 font brace conversion? How does this work and what does it do?
(I'm only asking for 2 reasons - I've just broke a white bulkhead and I can't find one online at the mo...) |
