New club/track in Warrington?
 

I have heard from a few members at Crewe that a new purpose built club is starting up in the Birchwood area of Warrington but not sure as a google search brings up nothing?

I originally come from Liverpool and now live in Warrington right by birchwood. Wouldn't mind finding out some more info out about it and I'll pop along and have a look at the area and see what the score is....... Any more info anybody??

I would be interested as am not far away.

Are there any model shops over that way, they would be in the know I would think, no response from anyone with any info and an empty Google search tells me it's probably just a rumour.
Would of been good though now Crewe is moving Nantwich way it's probably too far for me.

What classes do they race? im from nantwich, a local club would be great!

Crewe CRCMCC run all on road classes occaisonal buggies and micro's attend but not been enough for a heat for a while.
They have some very good 1/12th drivers and normally enough for 2 -3 heats backed up by 2 heats GT12, 2 heats of TC and mad minis

Also very keen to hear about an onroad club in Warrington.

Ode be interested as I have a Tc now and want to give it a blast

Again I've just got a touring car and I live Stockport so Warrington is not far at all. Would be good to have somewhere to race.

Hello all,

The rumours are true. We are in the process of setting up a club at Birchwood Leisure and Tennis complex.

Warrington RC Raceway is a radio controlled car club that offers a national size track, for 1/12 scale LMP Cars, GT12, 1/10th Touring Cars, F1 to include most carpet style racing. It is suitable for a wide range of skill levels and is located in a very easy location to get too.

First meeting will be the 4th December.

Every Friday from 6.30 till 10.00. Racing starts at 7.30.

What sort of interest do we have ?

Myself and jenks run lmp and gt12, we're looking at running those and maybe f1 and touring cars. Track size will be approx 12m x 28m so plenty of space.
