DX3R antenna /aerial
 

Hi Guys

Cannot seem to find anywhere where they have the replacement antenna for a speccy DX3R in stock, anyone got a spare knocking around ?

if its a screw in antenna, then www.badland.co.uk are great.
its a wifi / 2.4GHz antenna you'll need.
is it normal polarity - on the transmitter, in the centre of the SMA connector (where the antenna attaches), is there a hole?
if there is a pin sticking out then it is a reverse polarity antenna that you want.

its a 2.4 ghz antenna, it folds down and the spare part (can find pictures of the spare part I need ) shows that a lead comes from the centre with a plug that connects to a board.

Hi bud

i changed one on my dx3s they are the same as the dx3r
you need to buy the whole antenna, je spares do them for £5.50
you have to take your handset apart so the case splits into 2
you have to take the bottom dx3s sticker off as well as there is screw under this
after this its quite an easy job, the plug is glued in place when you open it up and recommend you do the same as you dont want the plug coming out after you have screwed the case back together
i think there might be a you tube video on this
