DCM 16-12-2006 05:36 PM

updated - buggy-sport.info didn't link it which is slightly strange - so no rallyX boyz would know about it I guess. O well. 229 hits, I think more than that looked at my laptop today! bugger.:p

I had a crap day, 5 qualifiers and I had trouble on hr first 4, engine cuts, sero horn falling off, wheel falling off... but the last qualifier was fantastic. The jumps are rather amazing - but sadly (look on the report) I am marshalling the BAST jump and almost got hit in the head today, I only saved my life with my arm and recived some cuts. its really a dangerous track to marshall. but driving it is fun.

Right - think we should move on from this housing estate before the police are called. haha

dave g 16-12-2006 10:32 PM

nice report jimmy..wish i was there, looks fun track to drive :)

nice to see 6 different makes of car in the top 10..thats the thing about rallycross..theres a lot to choose from and any car is capable of winning.

should make for good finals tomorrow.

Great report. Very nice photos as usual. I guess your getting to know the dangerous world of 1/8th buggy racing now. It can get crazy, all the tracks in Canada are like that. Not so good when its time for the 1/10th heats!

jimmy 17-12-2006 09:20 PM

I am back now, really tired as its been such a long day. my final was terrible, the engine cut 4 times at the start and it really peed me off. after that I had a good final but I was several laps down already by then and couldn't manage a bump-up. The track was awesome and so was my HongNor, after a little help from Jamie Booth the car felt pretty much dialled.

jimmy 17-12-2006 09:34 PM

I was all over those beams of light today and yesterday, they were cool and made for some sexy photos. much better than what was otherwise possible in that dimly lit hall.
