Hi guys and girls

Stab in the dark here - are you leaving the choke open? It will stall when warm & overly rich.

Fuel crystalising in the carb jets over the winter, I had this twice. It allows enough fuel to get through to run it lean but then stalls with any load.

??
oil wont cause it to cut out unless the low oil level is operating

i would check the emulsion tube in the carb the air filter obviously the fuel supply and if its auto chocke is that free also is the oil of a decent quality as it goes a lot thicker at low temperature hence poor running:drool:

Kipor dont have auto choke. They do have auto throtle though. As has been said they dont like being left with fuel in and you are supposed to winter store them with no fuel in.
Tried vw dealer. They had more problems than ford.
Bondy.
Engines are find its the electronics. Got lin bus /can bus networks no em now. Luckly not done by microsoft.

Genie probs

Mark

Bad news mate I had a kipor genie a while ago that lasted 12 months - the main problem is that they are an inverter not a proper genie and the unleaded fuel just destroys the internals. Had mine checked by a mechanic and he said it was a complete mess and nothing left inside it. Not sure what the answer is except get a proper genie and start it now and again

not sure what your mechanic meant, by that. fuel only gets in the tank/carb/engine.
nothing to do with getting in the inverter. kipor are a copy of honda inverter generators (there was a big legal issue at one point) mine is 3 years old and still perfect as are many i know of.
inverter gennies are fine, and better for our hobby than the cheap gennies of non inverter type which can cause massive spikes and surges.
