501X Worlds Gearing

Hi all,

On the worlds or big belt 501x (91 spur, 37 pulleys) what gearing have people used for nosram/lrp 5.5 and 6.5?

I've used 15 pinion on 5.5 and 17 on 6.5, but this looks way too low when looking at the gearing chart, what have others used??

for 91T spur,18T pulley and 37T Differential pulley the gear ratio is

Pinion gear ratio
16T 11.69 :1
17T 11.00 :1
18T 10.39 :1
19T 9.85 :1
20T 9:35 :1
21T 8.91 :1
23T 8.13 :1

Yeah, I guess what surprises me is that on the BMax I am gearing a 5.5 at @9.5 to 10:1, yet on the 501x worlds I use a 15t pinion, which is 12.4!? I'd have thought one of those must be well out!?

17 or 18t with a 5.5. running the ae 91 spur(i think) with the front one way pulley on:thumbsup: That was with nimh 4500. try a few and see what suits dave, maybe a bigger spur would give a smoother drive for you?
