Try Microtech Racing, they have one on back order should be in any day. They are same price as DMS, but free postage.

Only thing you need to convert it to a buggy to race at Wycombe is a buggy shell, either the standard FTX blaze shell, or a phat bodies Dudu (details on the UK-microRC site)
obviously some foams too, but you should be able to use the ones off your blaze (and the shell actually, so it will cost you nothing to convert!)

Im affraid your wrong DMS is almost 8 pound cheaper and DMS's service is the best and postage is just as fast as microtech is not faster.

you didn't do well at school did you Ash. The price that is £160 is for the basic RTR kit. Check your facts first.

microtech - £167.84
DMS - £164.95 + £6.50 p&p, making them more expensive overall.

and microtech postage is just as good. And they are open at 9:30 tomorrow Richard

Darren Boyle 27-12-2008 02:51 PM

TBH it dont really matter anyway lads!!! We havent got none, nor have Keith/Kev at Microtech nor will anyone have for about three weeks!!! (not quite any day Jim if we are correcting facts BTW :p)

Since LRP dont have any to send to SMD at the moment (Richard does know this since he asked and I have replied by PM about three or four days ago already)

Why do people assume that everyone who buys from us has stuff posted?? We do over 60% of our business over the counter where postage does not even come into the equation...
If you buy from any store and wish to collect we believe it should be cheaper than if you get it delivered, although even with delivery we always aim to remain competatively priced too.
Couriers are not back to work until next week and delivering until tuesday at the earliest and many people want to go and get it before then, so with Monday coming being the biggest day of the whole year for counter sales there is a high chance much of what we sell wont get a single penny of p+p added. So although Ash's maths were not up to scratch (as Jim pointed out) we are still cheaper this time around (on the product that NONE of us have in stock at the mo... LOL)

Just to confirm what Darren is saying, I can't get an FT shark either from LRP.

I just run the A-RTR one with a selection of the FT parts on it

Darren Boyle 29-12-2008 05:22 PM

Chris, if you cannot get one then we are all doomed!! LOL

Only joking, thanks for the confirmation mate

Another thumbs up for MK Racing from me, always helped out with things that I need and I am proud to be supported by them!

Darren Boyle 31-12-2008 03:29 PM

Live stock checks are great (when they work) and since we could not (and "still" cant) find a shop who use one that is always accurate we dont bother with one ourselves!!! We preferred to invest the money in more actual stock instead, rather than a fancy computer program that tells the world "we are out of stock".

If stuff is being advertised our aim is to have it "ALL" in stock (unless of course as with these Sharks, the supply chain does not allow it) if its on the site, available from supply, then many more times than not, we have it!

After all a quick email or phone call to find out if stuff is on the shelf is not "that" hard......

All the good shops around, MK, Microtech, ourselves plus all the others listed etc etc ALL offer a good service, its just the old cliche that "you cant please everyome all of the time". With the new price rise announced AGAIN yesterday by SMD on all LRP products I would bet that Marc (MK) will not be at £159.95 delivered when his new stock arrives, since I am pretty certian that we will be moving our prices up too across tha board, as will all other shops be forced to.

I would suggest to "anyone" looking to buy a Shark, from "wherever" you are going to buy it from, get into your chosen store, get a deposit down on one quick from the next btach, BEFORE the prices shoot up again!!!
