Sanwa M12 and Ansmann 3.1 RX -compatable?

Just wondering if Ansmann 3.1 RX are compatible with a Sanwa M12 tx. It works with my M11x but wondered if I could pair them on an older type-backward compatible response type (not sure the correct name) - FHS4, FH3 etc.

Tried to pair them on a few different module response types, didn't work and wondered if it was not possible?

It is but you need to change the response down to FH2
