Charging a transmitter battery
I have recently picked up a sanwa exzes z which has come with a lipo as well as a nimh battery. Both have the blue "servo" type connector. How do I charge these? Obviously I know I need to make sure the charger is set correctly for battery type, but is there anything else I need to know?
Thanks |
Chris.....you just need the correct charge lead. Either a converter, usually Deans plug to receiver plug or a lead with charger plugs to receiver plug. Then, as you say, just set your charger to correct battery and charge rate.. easy...

Most good Lipo for tx above 1s have a balance plug too, all ways worth balancing them

cheers all.
Managed to find a female servo connector so have tried that through balance board and works a treat:thumbsup: |
Is it a three pin or two pin connector, and can you connect it backwards? Red to black and black to red.
If it is possible, be very, very careful........ |

Think that was a very good point worth making |

Someone posted on here a couple of weeks ago having done the same thing, connecting back to front. Pop, bang goes the Tx. |
