If you dip them on the inside, you must be applying the applicator to the Shiny side?? The applicator must take the edge off the pattern, no?
Interesting...

Applicator?
If you referring to the film just same prosess but clean inside of shell mask were needed and dipp the shell as normal then apply the required base then I just put a white backer coat on they look really well when done as u get that really good shine look at my page all mine apart from the first shell are done on the inside

Ok... Will post on here.
If you apply the activator to the sticky/non glossy side and therefore stick it to the inside of the shell, that means you are having the best finish on the inside of the shell rather than showing through the shell on the outside. Know what I mean?

I found the dip to be very durable on the outside of the shell.... But inside I'm sure is better.

Would be very interested to hear your thoughts further

The process is the same when dipping put sticky side down then dip shell. then relevant base coat. The colour is as good as doing it on the outside if not better as the shine you get from the clear Lexun is really good like I say it's just hard getting it right doing the inside
You should check out pit dawg work look on his web site some cool stuff
This is my current shell

As I thought buddy, the sticky side shows. Works well with the likes of Carbon fibre but the more bright and electric colours I think you'd lose the brilliance... But you've done a superb job there that's for sure. I will persevere with the outside for now until I improve and maybe venture to the inside lol

I've seen pitdawgs stuff, amazing isn't it!!

Sorry - re-read your post. Ok, shiny side is shining through, apologies. Even better!! Great work!!
