K1 Diff Oil
 

Hi all

I run a K1 Aero on indoor surface, and was looking for advice in two diff areas.... What oil would you suggest running, and how much should I put in the diff on servicing it? Do I fill it, or pop a couple drops in, etc?

I almost always run 10k front and rear, when filling the diff, just enough oil to cover the cross pins :thumbsup:

Just so I know, is say 30 thicker than 10, or is it the other way round?

The higher the number, the thicker the oil.

Hi Paul, because of the indoor surface you run on I would recommend getting rid of the gear diffs and fit ball diffs, gear diffs are good on high grip but pretty useless on very low traction, put the ball diffs in and the difference will be unbelievable :thumbsup:
