Clash Report day 4 finally online!
 

It's taken a few days I know, but we wanted to perfect the report for finals day before uploading it. Anyway day three has been amended slightly, now including an interview with superstar Brian Kinwald, what a guy!
Day 4 has the top finals results and write-ups, a few photos, and some top interviews with some awesome guys. For more in-depth results don't forget to check out www.liverc.com .
There is some more randomness to come with some post-reportage madness, but that will be added next week when I have some more photos from the other guys.

This event has been absolutely awesome to cover, and I couldn't have produced this report without the help of the cool oOple dudes (JamesH, Vermin-Mag, Tom-Bag, Rich-Mag, Lil-Ben-sock, Bradders). Thanks also to Jason Ruona and Alison for their support and guidance, Brandon Rohde for the help with results, Ryan Maifield and anyone else for the drinks, Jimmothy oOple for the trans-atlantic support and for making the bed before I got home. Thanks to the hooters girls for the hospitality, and just generally thanks to everyone who we met who was so nice, expecially anyone prepared to do random mad stuff for the purpose of reportage :thumbsup:.

over 1200 photos on day 1 :woot: I think the most I ever put up is around 100 from a days racing. I got shed loads in Japan since I was literally there only to take photos but 1200! haha, never :lol:

I started doing my own little report on the clash, but my laptop broke when we were on the plane... here is what i had wrote anyways...





Tuesday 9<SUP>th</SUP> December:-
<O:p</O:p
The Jconcepts Clash is an event which is held every December<ST1:p</ST1:p. The 2008 event was held at Coral Springs RC Car Club in <ST1:p<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comhttp://www.oople.com/forums/ /><st1:City w:st=</st1:City>Miami, <st1:State w:st="on">Florida</st1:State></ST1:p. The racing starts from the 12<SUP>th </SUP>and finishes on the 14<SUP>th</SUP> with a full practice day on the 11th Thursday is practice day which consists of open practice, this means that all of the classes will be running together, for example 10<SUP>th</SUP> scale electric and 1/8 gas.
Team UK <ST1:pare going in full force, with Paul Bradby, Tom Cockerill, James Helliwell, Richard Lowe, Steve pierce and Ben Jemison. They even have there own reporter/photographer, Vicky oOple Storey… and Lee Martin and his partner Liz.
There was an hour delay before we finally took off on the plane to start the 9 hour flight. Whilst one of the hot crew members was serving someone next to James Helliwell, the tomato juice carton exploded which resulted in Ralph getting covered in tomato Juice. The hottie was very sorry at what she had done and wiped him down.
A technical fault at 15:20pm (English time) meant that the TV screens shut down.. Bradby wasn’t happy at this so went and spanked one of the stewardesses with his magic stick.
17:06 PM….. Me and bradders got chatting to this hot stewardess called Laura… she was frickin hot as!!! I gave her a little interview about her job while Paul bought some smelly shiz. She doesn’t ride horses as we suspected. She’s from <st1:City w:st="on">Reading</st1:City> but originally from <st1:country-region w:st="on"><ST1:pSussex</ST1:p</st1:country-region> and she called me Babe! Its ok, I get it all the time… from now on… it’s <ST1:p<st1:City w:st="on">GAME</st1:City> <st1:State w:st="on">ON</st1:State></ST1:p!
17:15 Paul Bradby- “my left armpit smells of heaven and my right of coffee…”
17:17 Steve, what do ya know? “Nothing Ben” I think Steve hasn’t thought about the answer and is just talking wubbish!<O:p</O:p
474mph ground speed, at 36000 ft. says smelliwell…
