MOD 1

Could somebody explain what the MOD1 upgrade is for gearing as i cannot find Info ? thanks . Do i need MOD 1 to race ? thanks .

Slash 4x4 , i keep reading that some have purchased the MOD 1 gearing but cannot seem to find out about it ?

Mod1 Refers to the size of the Pinion gear and spur Gear,Mod1 is larger than 32dp gears which are standard on the slash 4x4, generally stronger and easier to mesh than the smaller ones. Better for high power motors etc. Tekno sct has mod spur as standard so the motor needs a mod1 pinion to run it.
