Futaba 3vc dual rate problem
 
Hi,

I have a Futaba 3vc which i am having a problems with and I was hopeing somebody might be able to help me out

Basically When i adjust the dual rate on my steering settings, the steering moves as if im adjust the steering trim?

if anyone could help with this or advise what I should do would be great

All the buttons are programmable, sounds to me like the settings have been changed.

Scroll through the menu's and you can change it back

This is a quite common issue on all the Futaba handset that use the 3vc gimbal assembly, so:
- the FF3 (T3UCP)
- the 3VC (T3VC)
- the 3VCs (T3VCs)
- not all, but the newer 3GR
- the 4GRS

This behavior happens when a meccanical offset occurs between the plastic stick part that holds the potentiometer and the potentiometer shaft.

The 3VCs and the 4GRS have an special menu that performs a new transmitter calibration in order to fix this issue.

For all other transmitter listed the best advice I can give you is to send your radio to Ripmax for a factory recalibration.
