Thunder Tiger 2wd buggy?
Has any one else heard that Thunder tiger bringing out a 2wd buggy? sorry electric.
|
surely its going to be based/same as the b4 since they bought out AE??
dave |
talk today was that it would be a B3, yes - THREE
|
|
it would make sense for them to use the B3 (three) moulds.
AE have no use for them anymore (under the AE banner) a B4 under a different brand would be a bit useless (even in asia) its almost like a 'free' 'new' RTR car for TT |
bit like the duratrax evader buggy (losi xx?)
what is the new sportwerks 2wd, is that also an old losi ? its like a whole new underclass of buggys! :o |
Credit to sportwerks, I think theirs does look pretty much all new (not a Losi anyway)
but it does concern me that its rear width is ilegal for BRCA? Specifications Type 2WD Electric Buggy Scale 1/10 Length 381mm (15 inch) Width Front 248mm (9.75 inch) Width Rear 254mm (10 inch) Wheelbase 267mm (10.5 inch) Chassis Moulded Composite - see 'Width Rear' is the BRCA limit 250mm? :p |
That would be a bit of an oversight wouldnt it!
I just had a look and thought it was an academy griffin for a second, but nope it does look somewhat new. Like a b3 thats been b4'd ! http://www.sportwerksrc.com/ProdInfo...4SWK1510-q.jpg http://www.sportwerksrc.com/ProdInfo...6SWK1510-e.jpg |
could this thunder tiger truck be an associated clone as well?certainly looks like it.pity there arent any more pics but. AT10 ES i think its called.

Awesome, looks like i may be able to get some funky new parts for my good old B3 then :)
|
Actually, looks like the Sportwerks car isn't a B3, very similar but they've got a new chassis etc:
