JP Li-Pro quad charger problem
Hi folks,
I recently bought one of these beasts as my kids are now wanting to race with me so I need to be able to charge lots of batteries at the same time. All has been fine with it, until today when I came to charge my lipos for racing tomorrow. I used mains power and it was working fine. Only 2 lipos connected and charging merrily in garage, but when I went out later to check on progress the whole thing was "dead" - no signs of life. I unplugged everything and then tried to reconnect power, and the displays briefly flickered blue light (as normal) but then nothing. I switched power to my 12v supply and that works fine, so I tried changing the fuse on the plug. Same as before, brief flicker, but won't switch on Any suggestions? http://www.modelsport.co.uk/jp-lipro...roducts/370458 |
If works ok 12v sounds like faulty 240v supply

It just takes a standard mains lead - tried changing fuse as well as a different lead entirely.

It's not power socket loose solder joint on main board cousin had overlander charger with same problem

The internal mains transformer will have failed, they use cheap crap Chinese power supplies in these things and are famous for going wrong.
