ESC Fan

Im after a 25x25x7mm esc fan like this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LRP-ESC-Fa...item5420a77626

Only not £11.31

Doesn't matter what brand as long as its this size and has the same connector

Tarr :)

HarlowS 08-07-2015 09:58 PM

you can cut and solder the connector so could use most fans that size.

Ritchie T 08-07-2015 10:42 PM

Im struggling to find that size to be honest other than the LRP one I linked regardless of connector

ebay
type Hobbywing fan
or go on ebay.com you have it in 3 days

DynaMight 09-07-2015 06:02 AM

I bought some of these before: https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...dProduct=43748

Actually last longer than the original Hobbywing fan it replaced, not any noisier either. I think the connector looks the same too, but you can always cut & solder the connectors.

Delivery wont be super quick, but in my experience they come between 7-10 days & at under £1 each, just buy a few to make it worth your time. I usually also buy some hex screwdrivers like https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...dProduct=11063 to make up the weight.

Have a look at pc components, I think they use small fans like that on GPUs.

I bought a bag of 25*25*7 fans for about 4 dollars a fan a couple of years ago.

Very nice Ill be looking at ordering a couple of those at some point.
Don't the + and - need to be switched if using a HW esc?

InsideLineModels 14-09-2015 11:29 AM

Yes, good point, you will need to check the polarity against your previous fan, you can easily swap them round within the connector though.
