How to tell a brushless wind

Probably should know this, but what's the best way to work out a brushless wind?

It'll be written on the box/packet the motor comes in :p

What motor? The Novaks usually have it written on under the Purple/Blue ring.

it should be stamped on the can somewhere

it's a novak. nothing stamped on the can itself though.

Take it in bits and look under the centre ring ;)

Put a known voltage across it and measure it's speed?

You sure it's not on there stan as it's on the few Novaks I've ever had apart!

Have you got your giggs on stan? Are you sure its your motor you have been known to take other peoples gear before now ehh dan:p:p:p

Hey Stan,
What is the serial number on the plastic end of the motor? I can send an email and see if a record is held relating to that serial number. I can't think of any other way if it isn't on the stack under the centre ring.
