KF Vs KF2 Wishbone Arms

Hi,

Can someone help me out here. It may seem a bit of a dim question but we all had to learn somewhere right??

Are the wishbone arms on a KF different to a KF2? I know the part numbers are different but how come the KF2 and the SV2 share the same arms? It seems crazy that Schumacher completely changed the design for a first itteration of car?

Can (has anyone) tried / fitted the SV2/KF2 arms on a KF?

Cheers
Toby

The KF was designed around the K1 rear end and SV2 front, hence it runs the K1 rear arms. To get a longer wheels base on the KF and K1 you fit the SV2 arms as they have more adjustment, this followed on to the KF2 as a kit feature.

Nice one, Cheers Ross.

Does this mean I could use the SV2 arms right on the KF? would I need longer driveshafts or any other mods or are they simply a bolt on?

Cheers

Bolt straight on, but you will need the longer outer pin for the hub and spacers from memory.

You will not need longer driveshafts as the track stays the same only the wheelbase is adjustable.
