stronger front A-arms B-max4 iii ??

like the tittle already says, is there a manufacturer that makes stronger front A-arms for the B-max4 !!! ? i had just went from Xray to Yokomo and had to find out that the quality of the front arms is very poor... they just rip open on the hingepin ...

does anyone else also have this issue ?

thanks

I've just recently done 2x fronts but both were quite hard hits , both times hitting "dead" cars!!

yes, i have tesame problem, for the rest the car is very good, did a couple of lipos on it and instantly i can drive with confidence , only the weak a-arms are a bit disapointing ....

Interesting question.
My one and only breakage was the arm splitting where it attaches to the hinge pin
Last sunday a friend of mine was testing tyres before his final and bumped his YZ2 - splitting the rear arm at the hingepin.

I don't know if this is common to other brands, but on my Team C I used to snap the front arms, but never split at hinge pin?

Not the standard arms (BM-008F) no.
The hard arms (BM-008FH) are quite brittle. I put them on and they do break easily, but have had no issue with the standard ones, Which I've gone back to.

I've just ordered two sets of the hard ones, I'll see how these go
It's winter here as well lol

In Winter I wouldn't even run the hard arms. Go with the normal arms. Should be alright in every situation. The front arms are a bit weak (it's the design of the car), especially near the hinge pins, but it's not that bad. I broke more front arms on my B44 years ago. They broke by just looking at them. :D

To answer the original question: no, there is not company that makes better arms. Yokomo is not a brand that has a lot of aftermarket parts available.

They will be much worse and break easier in a crash.
The plastic is stiffer, but in a crash the normal arms are more durable.

Yeah broke three arms within a week... Local post is really delayed with my standard arms
