Carpet: Closed Cell vs Open Cell
 

I know I am not on here much, but I'm going to start getting more active since a track near me has gone to carpet and I know a lot of people on this forum run on carpet tracks.

So my question is, what is better on carpet? Close cell or Open Cell. Seems to be a toss up some say Closed Celled while others say open. What is the difference between the two, and when would you use one over the other.
