I can relate to gathering RC cars and parts :)

I don't even post much and am a closet vintage buggy fan, just can't stop collecting :)

I wish I took crack cocaine......it would be cheaper...I've been buying rc cars now for over 30 years...I must have had over 400+ cars by now...you know it's bad when the car you've acquired for bits gets restored back to what it should look like...I've had up to 175 cars in one room at the highest point of my addiction.....but now I'm down to only 52......

I put a kyosho 240s up on ebay. Someone sent me a msg to see if id do a buy it now and meet locally. I panicked and killed the auction before someone bid on it....(considering i started the auction off at $65 and probably could have goten $80-85 cash.....) But it's such a pretty motor!!!

My ears are burning :)

Well I kept some RC10 front wheel bearings and a rear bulkhead for no real reason back in 1991, threw them in an old toolbox.

I then bought a car lot a couple of years ago - guess what was there, a team car only missing the front wheel bearings and bulkhead.

RC hoarding is the way forward! I guess I have had about 400 cars since 2011 (no joke), now sitting at around 100 runner, shelfers and NIB kits.....it is definitely an addiction and I have so many random 'just in case' parts lying around.

James, I have a new build Lazer ZX for sale if you are interested ;)

Youd get a tidy sum for that, im after bits for my runner and would kill me taking that apart.

I went from having no cars 2 months ago. Then found my old triumph, bought a zx5, then had to have a vintage lazer. So got a zxr which has never been run. Then I decided I needed a parts car for it & Today I bought a zx with some goddies on it. But it's too good a car for just being a parts car lol.So now I'm up to 4 cars. How did this happen?

That's weird - I brought a bearing set from my local model shop, because it had the right size ball race for my RC12... which had a tendency of throwing off its front wheels (only held on with an e-clip) which often mean't that you lost a bearing out of the wall also. That set was for the RC10 buggy & it sat in my toolbox right up until I received my first Gold Pan back in 2009 - this was a basic kit model with bushes... so the bearings suddenly had a use :)

Since then I've collected old buggies & parts... so much so that if I'm doing a build & need an odd screw or small part... its quite often that I've got said part in one of the many boxes/tubs cluttering up my workbench!
