If that is 100% handcutting then I like it also.

I think the front brace is supposed to also attach to the top of the steering posts to stop them twisting the chassis.

TBH looking at your CNC rig and what you've done already I think this would be a minor revision, looks like nice work:thumbsup::thumbsup:

The Lazer FS sp never had a front top deck that also attached to the steering. It has a separate plate joining the tops.

So is the FS SP different from the original ZX5 FS? I must admit i'm not familiar with any of the FS cars as I went straight from a ZX5 SP2008 to a ZX6.

Yes there is a separate bar under the front top deck connecting the steering posts, you can do it that way or incorporate the steering post mounts into the top deck, with the separate bar it makes the front not quite as stiff as the integrated mounts.
