Just check you got the 12v connected to the right leads on the charger and the right ones on the pack. i know it sounds stupid but i did this to start with as the layout of the charger was the opposite way round to my previous one  |
Nope still no joy....the charger dosn't light up when i connect it to 12v battery either ...hmmmmm....
|
new 12v could have no voltage? or one of the croc clips is naff

I did try charging off my car battery.... i was getting the same error message last night thats why i purchased the new battery???
|
Struggling like an old struggly thing.....being new to this and trying to get started on a limited budget...i have second hand 3300 gp cells...3700 gp cells... new leisure battery 110amps.... pulsar 2 competition charger.... not sure what readings to take to check and eliminate which bit of equipment is faulty or how to get over the problem.......thought i was doing well ....just ready to do car trials and cant charge batteries......arrrghhh
:( |
Getting nowhere fast.... beginning to think charger is u/s:thumbdown::thumbdown:
|
Was it little Ben's? :eh?:

I am not going to name names.....I own it ..... just trying to get it sorted....

The reason I asked was that if it was his, he's in Miami for the week, so if you are trying to get in touch he might not reply. ;)

Just did it on my newer pulsar 3 :( Found out to be the wire that goes into the corally type connector on the end of the input wires, resoldered and shes fine :D

Cheers gunna give that a try see how i get on tonight....
|
Nope that didn't work either..... new connectors soldered on .....same ol error... interupt low input....Hmmmmm....
|
Check to make sure that one of the input wires isn't broken internally ...... wouldn't be the first one I've seen do that as most people tend to wrap the wires around the charger before throwing it in the kitbag / box ..... the wires will, over time, start to break down.
I've had my Pulsar (1) from just about the month they came out and still going strong!! |
Now looking for someone to send it to to get it fixed......Had electricians at work test all wires ect. ...test ok must be internal fault...Thanx to all who stopped me from bash my head against the preverbrial brick wall
